bring the pugbot back (i know its still there just no one does it), advertise it. tell all your friends. i used to start it up w/ nummba and ryp and all them and wait for like 20 min per person to join lol but srsly it was a good way to play so lets bring this back.

Though it won't bring L4D2 back, it will let people that get pugs together to play, since that's all most people do anyway as of now. The game won't be revived, but it will be played a lot more, and hopefully it will result in people forming teams to play so they don't have a random team everytime. I support this idea.

How can you expect to bring back this game, get new interest with new teams when there is a line drawn in the sand in here between some of you?
Repair this issue first, regain the unity among the people in this forum, and then go about trying to gain new interest.
That's my 2 cents. Spend it wisely.

New dedicated community site equals more advertisement for the community, and future Cybergamer pugbots. There's a thread that's pretty much already about this topic, this seems more of a 'Bring Pugbots back!" type thread. Seems just as easy to me to get 8 people into one mumble to pug anyway, dawkins and I do it all the time for our nightly pugs, and those are late night ones when less people are online. When L4DNation goes live I'm sure you'll see a lot more people using Cybergamers pugbot; why? Because we'll most likely be advertising to use it and to look into the leagues that Cybergamer has planned after the debut tournament.

Just my 2 cents, while it didn't bring a lot of people I noticed people that didn't play alot actually playing on the pugbot and what not. It was a good device to at least get some activity going.

Honestly, while everyone may hold their opinions of other players around the community I have yet to see any of these grudges heavily impede anything.
Yes, there's shittalking between teams, but the way I see it: other games have it worse. Take a look at CS:S for example, it's horrifying really.

Promotion of the events will be the key to success with the l4d series in general. I will cast more tournaments for both games if they come up which should help strike some interest. I can only promote so much but will need help from everyone else. Maybe I will do a weekly podcast discussing competitive events and standings of those events to strike up some more interest.
