so with the current events going on i've notice more and more people going back to l4d1 like they did around february/march for the frus tourney that never happened. It seems despite our efforts at CG with the leagues afoot, the game is slowly dying. Personally i haven't seen the pugbot go up since i stopped err uh starting it everyday. It all really comes down to there really isn't any... community anymore besides the few teams and pugs that sometimes scrim. With that being said is there anyone interested in running C4F again or taking up where me and actor/basik/leo left off?

I'd really like to see it come back, as would many others. Hopefully someone can take over where you left off.

One of the problems you had near the end of C4F was lack of mentors. I think there's more motivation for mentors to volunteer if they're actually playing. It means you need slightly more mentors, but I think you'll get more regular mentors because of it.

And we also need a firm way of ranking players in skill levels, possibly by how many times you've played confogl, if on any teams, etc. Last time's Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced had a lot of animosity in it.

the 2 learners 2 mentors idea was good but was never done, teams said yeah but then forgot

i see ppl that played/mentored in teams now, but majority have left that didnt get that chance, but ppl that play regular should pitch in to help, but either twice a week at different times would be good. this would get more games in with people and would motivate to play more

I noticed that alot of people would funnel into the first two options leaving only a couple (if that) advanded players. In my opinion there should only be the two sections. One for getting used to confogl and it's changes and the other for the lowmid tier players wanting to improve their game.

I'd be down with anything that brings in new players to this game. :O

Me and Dawkins wanted to bring it back, im all for. But this time, let the mentors play with the players (like how C4F first did it), the whole coach from spec doesnt help the players learning, they have no direction and for future games they play, they will remember the call. I'm Down.

I'd be up to be a mentor, I think I can put my hate for shade aside to help out with this.

The aim is for 2 mentors per team, if by some miracle that many mentors sign up. If not, one per, but playing, as bow said.
