in my experience using 16.7 for a while now, at first it was really choppy, but i got used to it, and now i don't even notice it. they seem smooth to me.

Using those rates will produce choppy CI, but has nothing to do with your computer. You are giving up smoothe for more real-time which is from the world adjusting to what you are sending/receiving.

some players use a tf2 scout movement script to rebind their WASD keys to trick the lag compensation into reading false positives and showing erroneous survivor movement to other players.

btw i can down-vote what he said about high ping and 0 lerp not mixing. Although i haven't really checked my choke, i've played with 0 lerp lately and i felt alot more comfortable with it. Alot more comforting now to know when i miss a skeet it's me missing, and not just high ping/lerp messing me up.

l4d2 is much more friendly in terms of allowing 0 lerp, in my experience. l4d1 requires more experimenting. If you are getting choke you need to increase your interp / lerp. A wise yet cynical cat has taught me this.

uhh, @ 160+ ping i found hunters/common way easier to deal with @ 66.7 lerp, rather than 0 or 16.7 but idk
