Poll: CG-A/P Item Spawns

We've decided that the main difference between CG-A/P should be something that doesn't make the transition between the two incredibly difficult--something that's a simple scale. What we're planning on doing is using confogl 2.2.1 to limit item spawns on maps.

What we need from the community is opinions on the number of item spawns per map on CG-A/P.

Q) For CG-A
1. Total Pills (outside of saferoom) - ?
2. Total Adrenaline - ?
3. Total Pipe Bombs - ?
3. Total Bile Bombs - ?
4. Total Molotovs - ?

I'm thinking 2-4 pills outside of saferoom for CG-P, 1-2 adren, and 2 of each item.
CG-A would either be unrestricted or 6-8 pills, 3-4 of each item, and 3-4 adren.

it honestly depends on the map. As it is now you get 5+ mollies and 6+ pipes in dark carn2 but rarely get any throwables on the 3rd map (the map that you actually need them).

Confogl is only going to set a maximum at this point. It will enumerate all the pills/items on the level, check the cvar-set limit, and randomly select that many of them to keep, deleting all the others. I don't really feel like keeping a set minimum. Just consider what you think it should be on the maps where people end up with 4 molotovs in hand during tanks

Should be the same for both. The players should make the game harder not the config.

I'm not as concerned about pipes and biles tbh, but having 3+ molotovs to light a tank drives me up a wall.

This works for me, too. I agree with this opinion for the most part. The main reason for the CG-A/P split is because revlis thought CG-P should have a harder config.

I agree with Prodigy and Helk in regards to the players making the game harder, not the config.

I think throwables should total 4-6 so it forces strategic use as opposed to oh look an extra lets just huck it. Health items imo should be enough for about 1 extra to each survivor, though maybe 2 adrens = 1 pills depending on circumstances.

CG-A/P:

5. Molotovs- 2

However I will say that I am partial to only one molly so it forces the guaranteed light (obviously number of mollies would have to match number of tanks in finales)

Is it possible to set different maximums for finales than for the rest of the campaign?

For throw ables 1 molly and 2 of the other 2. 2 pills and 2 shots outside the saferoom.

Also just an opinion but I think events should have a lot less commons. Tanks should also not go AI, should die after 2 switches. AI shouldn't never play such a big role in a comp. game.
