Hey all,
I had a long meeting with the owners of CG and the creators of EAC last night to come up with a plan of attack. Here is what I was told...A majority of you with the problem are running Windows XP64 or a variation there of. Due to the fact Windows XP64 never officially supported XP64 as a platform EAC never coded for it. As of two nights ago they begun work on establishing support for EAC on the XP64 bit platform. Now that being said it may take a week or two but that doesn't mean we're shit out of luck here. Here is the fix...
AC Temp Resolution:
*Players that cannot get EAC to run on their system must put in a support ticket prior to each match stating so. Once that is done they are eligible to play in the match. Once the match is complete the player/s that could not get EAC client side running will be required to upload their match demos. (So in essence the server side of EAC would work like PB does now for you)
Reason's why you can't report your win/losses sometimes:
The system for scheduling is different then you guys have used before. The matches are setup through a series of dates and times that the home team purposes. Then the away team finds a time they are happy with on that list or suggest different times. Once the two teams agree on a time they both MUST confirm it to have the server setup for the match. If you wait till after Sunday to setup the match then you may have problems reporting due tot eh fact the match was suppose to be played by that day. We've significantly increased the days and times you can offer now so this should no longer be a problem. Remember you must follow the entire match setup procedure to get a match server setup for you. If the match is never setup on the website the website thinks the match was never setup thus it never ready's itself for a score to be entered thinking the match never took place. Using the website and system correctly will fix these problems. Schedule your matches before SUNDAY! Don't have to play them before Sunday but they do need to be scheduled before Sunday.
Conclusion:
We apologize for this problem but didn't catch but one or two people in our tests of the AC with this problem and we were able to make it work for them. Either way we can move on with the matches now and will no longer have problems doing so. Thanks all
All CG-m/i matches will now be scheduled. Thanks
