If you are going to create a recruitment post, please make sure to include this...

- On your topic please put [Looking] if you are looking for a team or [Recruiting] if you are recruiting for a team.

If you are looking for a team you should at least include...
- Past Teams (If any)
- Skill Level (High Mid Low)
- Steam Page
- What you are looking for in a team

If you are looking to pick up players you should at least include...
-How many people you are looking for
-How often the team will be playing
-Your team page/steam page for them to contact you

Probably because the majority of the players posting ARE mid-high. I guess it's what you consider yourself. Maybe some guidelines should be written out?

All it takes is a player to be honest with themselves and the people they want to play with. Evaluate yourself as player. Are you REALLY that good or just trying to get a tryout?

The problem is there's nothing to really compare to. People need to know what Low entails. There's no "official L4D skill scale" as it were because it's kind of hard to measure. Think the whole concept of "low, mid, high" isn't useful in this setting. Just describe yourself as a player, name some strengths and weaknesses and just be honest.

Is it considered bad form to post you're looking for a team if you've never played on one before? The only reason I ask is because I looked through many of the posts made by people currently [Looking], and all of them have played on previous teams. I would really like to play with some people, and missed the meeting a couple weeks ago where you made teams for people.

Not at all. There's no real qualification for "looking" except that maybe you can play on confogl There're plenty of people that were "looking" that didn't have previous teams, they just all have teams now thanks to the meeting

You could go on and on about how awesome you were on old teams, but that can only get you so far. Having a past team to have to find one would be a silly prerequisite. You're fine where you are, just do your best on your tryouts!
