Cyber Gamer CoD4 Season 1
Registration/Prize Break Down/Limited Size
CyberGamer.org is very happy to inform the COD community that we officially rolling out the start of our first Call of Duty 4 Season in the USA. This season will include a prize break down unlike anything the community has ever seen and will feature some of the best COD4 teams in the country.
The fee for the league are $20/per player. Teams are required to have 5 players paid on the roster prior to their first regular season match-ups. If the team does not have the 5 players paid by their first match they could be removed from active league standing and replaced by another team due to limited league size*.
Season 1 Information:
Season 1 will consist of two different skill sets. The first being CG-invite which is made up of the top 10 teams in the country currently competing in CG. The second is CG-main which consist of teams looking to move up the chain of competitive online gaming as well as teams that are proving themselves worthy of a higher level competition.
Matches will be played by default on Sunday at 8:30pm central time. Although teams have the opportunity to schedule between themselves for a day that best fits their respected schedules*. Both CG-i and CG-m will play once a week. Each conference consist of 10 teams. These ten teams will play all the other teams in their conference once before the regular season is complete. The top teams from each conference will go to the league playoffs to compete for prize money and a chance to be moved up to a higher level of competition.
Prizes/Awards: Cyber Gamer is very pleased to announce a guaranteed prize pot of $6000 spread accordingly throughout the COD4 league. There is also a strong possibility of additional prizes(non-cash based) being put in place for both leagues throughout the season.

Note:
In addition to this announcement CG COD4 admins have decided to implement the use of a pistol's only round to decide which team will be starting on what side, prior to match play going live. We understand this is a new aspect of match play that the community is not going to be 100% comfortable with right away but we feel it's a nice change of pace and will add a interesting aspect to the game*.
