With the first season of CG COD4 drawing near there are still a few questions many people bring up to me and the other admins. I wanted to clue you guys in on a few things and see if it clears up any confusion one might have.

CyberGamer-Main and Invite almost full for season 1!
First off I want to say that CG thus far as extremely happy with the response we've seen from the US COD4 community. We expected maybe 20-30 teams to compete in the cg-m/i leagues for the first season and as of right now there are over 60 registered. That being said CG-i only has 50 pay to play team slots. This won't always be the case but for the first season it is since we won't be using a CG-Open or CG-Amateur league. This is why I warn the teams out there serious about playing CG to register and get paid up now. Teams fully paid and registered will not be removed from the league they are placed in. Any teams not fully registered or paid could be considered uninterested in playing this season and won't be placed right away.

Team Placement
As of right this moment only 5 teams have been placed into cg-invite. Ultimately cg-invite will consist of 10-12 teams in total. The last 5-7 teams in cg-invite are still being determined. The cg-main league has started to take form and will consist of 10-12 team conferences that will play within their conference for a chance at playoffs, cash prizes and ultimately a invite into the cg-i division. Teams and conferences are subject to change so please don't get all worked up over seeing certain teams in certain divisions.

Anti-Cheat
Our anti cheat is a completed system but is currently being modified a bit to cater to our website and league needs. I assure you the system is 100% functional but certain cosmetic and functionality additions need to take place before we release it for download by league participants. The anti cheat will be available before the first CG match takes place so you should be seeing it soon.

League Start Timeline
CyberGamer plans on starting it's first US COD4 league games in conjunction with then first cevo league games. This includes a united map rotation to ease stress for teams to play in two leagues. Much like cevo we will be playing 1 match a week. We aren't working with cevo officially in any manner but we are trying our best to make it easy for teams to compete in both leagues at the same time. I would assume once the cevo-pt tourney is over league play will soon follow and at that time you should expect to see cg matches scheduled.

Cheaters and recent ban lists
As we've said many times now current cod4 Punk Buster banned players will not be permitted to play in CG. This rule only applies to current PB Banned players that were caught cheating by PB in COD4. No other game, platform or league bans will apply to CG's ruling. To address the recent release of Codehook's user data base, we've decided not to ban any players off that list unless the cheats in question were listed as COD4 cheats. If there is any question as to the player, the cheats or the ip we will give the benefit of the doubt to the player. Any players that have been PB banned or that are on the Codehook list have the ability to appeal their ban and have it reviewed by admins for a fare and final ruling. We will take each case one by one.
